We built Color Picker Web with a privacy-first philosophy: no account is required to use any tool, and core functionality like color picking and image processing happens entirely in your browser.

Because our Tools require no account or sign-up, we collect very little personal information. What we do collect falls into these categories:

• Automatically collected data: Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and pages visited — collected via standard web server logs and analytics tools.
• Voluntarily provided data: If you use our Contact Us form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the name and email address you provide.
• Local browser data: Preferences such as your color history and picked colors may be stored temporarily in your browser's local session — this data never leaves your device.

We do not require or request sensitive personal information such as payment details, government IDs, or health information.

Our Image Color Picker tool allows you to upload photos to extract colors. Images you upload are processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript (the HTML5 Canvas API) and are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.

Closing or refreshing the browser tab clears all image data completely. We have no access to, and retain no copies of, any image you process using this tool.

We use minimal cookies and similar technologies necessary for basic site functionality (such as remembering your selected language) and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — such as which tools and pages are most popular.

Our analytics data is aggregated and anonymized wherever possible; we do not use cookies to build individual advertising profiles or sell tracking data to third parties. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not function as intended.

Any information we do collect is used solely to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its Tools.
• Respond to your inquiries submitted via the Contact Us form.
• Send newsletter emails to subscribers who have explicitly opted in (with an unsubscribe option in every email).
• Understand aggregate usage trends to guide future feature development.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or security threats.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
